Job summary

Micron Technology, a global leader in memory and storage solutions, seeks an EHS Emergency Services Technician to lead emergency response efforts, conduct safety audits, and manage incident documentation. The role requires an EMT license, 2+ years of EMT experience, and proficiency with SAP/Enablon within a 12-hour shift pattern.

The position emphasizes safety compliance, risk mitigation, and collaboration across teams to protect personnel and assets while supporting continuous safety

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in emergency services.
• 2+ years' EMT experience or equivalent field.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts (3/4 days pattern) and rotate day/night shifts.
• Able to lift 25-40 pounds and stand up to 10 hours per shift.
• 2+ years' experience with SAP, Enablon, or similar incident tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead emergency response efforts as ERT Captain, directing personnel during medical, chemical, gas, HAZMAT, and rescue incidents.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols including PPE, Lockout/Tagout, and chemical handling procedures.
• Conduct safety audits, hazard prevention checks, and support safety improvements.
• Apply and review Job Hazard Analyses; communicate shift updates and collaborate across teams.
• Manage and maintain emergency response tools and equipment; document incidents and monitor safety trends.
