Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Emergency Response in Nazareth, PA to safeguard clients across industries, including logistics and distribution. You will patrol, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service while following site procedures.

Position is full-time with a pay rate of $17.00 per hour. Schedule includes day and night shifts across a 24/7 cycle; background check and drug screening required; valid driver’s license may be needed for driving roles.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and the business perimeter.
• Monitor access points and support the screening of visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document incidents, unusual activity, and completed rounds through required reporting processes.
