AMR in the United States is hiring a Paramedic for a full-time position. You will assess calls, provide advanced medical care with equipment like defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, and IV fluids, and lead the on-scene team.

You will drive the ambulance on 911 responses and work with other emergency responders. Minimum qualifications include State Paramedic License, BLS/ACLS/NREMT-Paramedic, and a GED or high school diploma.

Competenze

• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certifications required.
• State Paramedic License required.
• State Driver’s License required.
• Some healthcare work experience preferred.

• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act asParamedicteam leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner withall alliedhealth and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.

Other Responsibilities:

• Participate in community programs tomaintainAMR image andestablishstrong community relations.

MinimumRequired Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• State Paramedic License
• State Driver’s License
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
• Driving record in compliance with company policy
• Pass Physical Agility Test
• Some work experience, preferable in healthcare
