Job summary

AMR is hiring Paramedics for a full-time position. The hourly rate starts at $21.50 and varies with experience (DOE). The role focuses on delivering compassionate, high-quality basic and advanced patient care to our customers in emergency settings.

The responsibilities include leading on-scene management, using advanced medical equipment, and coordinating with healthcare and public safety teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Prior trauma and healthcare experience are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• State Paramedic License.
• State Driver’s License.
• BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certifications.
• Driving record in compliance with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures to provide advanced care (defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, IV fluids).
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance that care is being given.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow Paramedics.

MinimumRequired Qualifications:
