Job summary

AMR in Kentucky is seeking a Paramedic for a full-time role in Cadiz. Hourly rates start at $21.50 plus DOE, with opportunities to advance as experience grows. You will deliver high-quality patient care using advanced equipment and protocols, and lead the on-scene Paramedic team on assigned calls.

The role requires a State Paramedic License, Driver's License, and advanced certifications (BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic). A valid driving record and physical agility test are also required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• State Paramedic License.

• Driving record compliant with policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some healthcare work experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call and determine best action with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Use medical equipment including defibrillator and EKG monitor to provide care.
• Communicate with patients and families to inform about care.
• Lead Paramedic team and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.

• Assess each call situation todeterminethe best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act asParamedicteam leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner withall alliedhealth and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.

Other Responsibilities:

• Participate in community programs tomaintainAMR image andestablishstrong community relations.

MinimumRequired Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

• Some work experience, preferable in healthcare
