AMR in Huntingdon, TN is hiring a full-time Paramedic. The position offers hourly wages starting at $21.50 plus DOE, with opportunities to provide basic and advanced patient care on emergencies.

You will lead on scenes, drive the ambulance on 911 calls, and work with a team of professionals to deliver compassionate care. Requirements include State Paramedic License, State Driver’s License, BLS/ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certification where applicable.

Competenze

• State Paramedic License is required.
• State Driver’s License is required.
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certifications are required.
• Passing a Physical Agility Test is required.
• Some healthcare work experience is preferred.

Mansioni

• Assess call situations and determine best course of action using paramedic protocols.
• Utilize paramedic skills with equipment including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction and IV fluids.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.

• Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel.

Other Responsibilities:

• Participate in community programs tomaintainAMR image andestablishstrong community relations.

MinimumRequired Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• State Paramedic License
• State Driver’s License
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
• Driving record in compliance with company policy
• Pass Physical Agility Test
• Some work experience, preferable in healthcare
