Job summary

AMR is hiring a Paramedic for a full-time role in McEwen, TN. The position offers hourly pay starting at $21.50 plus DOE.

Responsibilities include assessing calls, providing advanced medical care with equipment, communicating with patients and families, and taking command of scene and unit management as needed. Qualified candidates will hold a State Paramedic License, BLS/ACLS/NREMT-Paramedic, and a valid driver’s license, with a suitable driving record and ability to pass a physical agility

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• State Paramedic License.
• State Driver’s License.
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic.
• Driving record compliant with policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call and determine the best course of action using Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize Paramedic skills with defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction and IV fluids to provide advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and assurance.

Responsibilities:

• Assess each call situation todeterminethe best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act asParamedicteam leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner withall alliedhealth and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.

Other Responsibilities:

• Participate in community programs tomaintainAMR image andestablishstrong community relations.

MinimumRequired Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• State Paramedic License
• State Driver’s License
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
• Driving record in compliance with company policy
• Pass Physical Agility Test
• Some work experience, preferable in healthcare
