Altium Packaging seeks a Mechanical Support Technician to lead emergency response across the United States and Canada, stabilizing operations and driving rapid restoration of production lines, with emphasis on blow molding environments.

This hands-on role requires extensive maintenance and production experience, readiness to travel up to 100%, and the ability to lead under pressure while building capability across plants.

Formación

• 6–10 years’ experience in a high-output plastics manufacturing environment, with strong exposure to bottle processing operations.
• 5–10 years of hands-on experience in maintenance and/or production technical roles.
• Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting blow molding systems and downstream bottle processing equipment.
• Proven ability to lead under pressure during unplanned operational events.
• Willingness and capability to be hands-on on the plant floor.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as on-site technical leader during escalation events across U.S. and Canada plants.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and controls issues on the plant floor.
• Lead root-cause analysis and ensure corrective actions are implemented and sustained.
• Provide hands-on training to operators and maintenance technicians.
• Support PM/Overhaul work and major downtime recovery.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers during escalations.
• Document root causes and lessons learned from deployments.
