Job summary

Lewis Environmental, Inc. is seeking a field supervisor to execute Emergency Response services in collaboration with field teams, supervisors, and project managers. The role requires readiness for after-hours project support and strict adherence to safety and environmental regulations.

The candidate will lead field crews, ensure JSA compliance, manage incident documentation, and maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders to ensure high-quality emergency response outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in an environmental contracting company.
• Valid driver's license with clean MVR and criminal background.
• Flexibility to work weekends and be on call.
• 40 hours OSHA and related safety training (provided).
• DOT Supervisory Drug & Alcohol Training (provided).
• DOT Examiner's Certificate (part of pre-employment testing).
• CDL is preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Direct field crews and ensure JSAs are followed; monitor PPE levels and safety.
• Provide leadership to Royersford-based Spill Leaders and FTO.
• Communicate clearly through the Emergency Services Chain of Command with involved personnel.
• Follow directions from Field Supervisor/Response Coordinator/Project Managers.
• Ensure adherence to safety rules and OSHA regulations.
• Lead task assignments to ensure quality completion of work.
• Assist in training and development of newly hired staff.
• Address employee concerns promptly and professionally.
• Report health and safety incidents/near misses and assist investigations.
• Perform tasks per company/client policies to meet safety and quality goals.
• Maintain awareness for after-hours project support.
• Handle hazardous and non-hazardous material regulations.
