Job summary

The Lewis Group is seeking an Emergency Response Supervisor in Harrisburg, PA to lead field crews and manage equipment for scheduled response services with after-hours availability. You will partner with Field Supervisors and Project Managers to ensure safety and quality on every project.

You will oversee spills response teams, enforce JSAs, and drive training and development for new staff, while maintaining strong client communication and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in an environmental contracting setting.
• Valid driver's license, clean MVR and background.
• Flexibility for weekend and on-call status.
• Strong focus on safety, integrity, accountability and quality.
• 40 hours OSHA and related safety training provided.
• DOT supervisory drug & alcohol training provided.
• DOT Examiner's Certificate required as part of pre-employment tests.
• CDL preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field crews and ensure compliance with JSAs.
• Provide leadership for Royersford based Spill Leaders and FTO.
• Communicate clearly across the Emergency Services chain of command.
• Follow directions from Field Supervisor/Coordinator/PMs.
• Enforce safe work practices per safety rules and OSHA.
• Assign tasks to ensure high-quality work completion.
• Assist in training and development of new staff.
• Address employee concerns promptly and professionally.
• Report safety incidents/near-misses and support investigations.
• Ensure daily notes and required paperwork are completed with customer signature.
• Photo-document all response activities before, during, and after.
• Maintain professional client relationships and protect confidential info.
