Job summary

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of hands‑on experience, with the ability to read and follow technical instructions and maintain proper work records. Eligible applicants must possess a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Requires High School graduation or GED equivalent.
• Two (2) years of experience in performing building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, alarm systems and minor construction maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates, assigns and reviews work and establishes work schedules.
• Performs complex maintenance and diagnostic services for carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and similar systems maintenance, repair or construction of county facilities.
• Inspects facilities to identify maintenance and repair requirements and priorities.
• Respond to 24 hr. emergency and non-emergency service calls, diagnoses problems and makes minor repairs.
