Job summary

Hunterdon Health is seeking a part-time clinician to evaluate patients for level of care, provide psychotherapy, and coordinate care from emergency evaluation through hospitalization in the state system.

The position requires a Master’s Degree in Social Work or Psychology, 2 years of clinical experience, and NJ licensure (LCSW/LPC or related). The role involves collaboration with ED, psychiatry, and community providers, with a day shift and weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or Psychology is required.
• 2 years of clinical experience required.
• NJ Screening certification within 6 months of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide thorough evaluations to patients, including collateral contacts with family and treatment providers.
• Provide Psychotherapy to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with Emergency Department, Psychiatry, and HBH/HHS systems staff.
• Interface with acute system of care providers and community providers to facilitate appropriate treatment and case management.
• Provide accurate and timely documentation of all activities.
