Qualifications

Active medical license in Indiana
Board-certified psychiatrist with emergency psychiatry experience
Experience in medical education or residency supervision

Responsibilities

Perform psychiatric evaluations and risk assessments for patients in behavioral health crisis.
Provide consultation and treatment recommendations to emergency medicine and hospital-based teams.
Support disposition planning including inpatient admission and follow-up arrangements.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and efficient behavioral health care delivery.
Assist with quality improvement and program development in emergency psychiatry.
Participate in resident education, supervision, and academic activities for the IU Psychiatry Residency Program.
