This role requires an innovative leader with a passion for education, clinical excellence, and the development of future psychiatry physicians. The APD serves as a key educational leader, clinician, and mentor, fostering excellence in teaching, clinical practice, and professional development. The successful candidate will work closely with the Graduate Medical Education (GME) leadership and others to ensure the program’s success and alignment with Premier Health and WSU BSOM's mission of providing exceptional patient care while advancing medical education. The APD serves as an educator, mentor, and role model for residents and faculty, promoting an inclusive learning environment that emphasizes excellence in patient care, professionalism, scholarship, resident well-being, community service, and continuous quality improvement.
The Associate Program Director is provided with 0.40 FTE (16 hours per week) of protected administrative time to fulfill these responsibilities.
