Zusammenfassung

Avera Health's Behavioral Health Center-Sioux Falls is seeking staff to evaluate and treat individuals in acute mental health crisis via telehealth, in person, or video. You will perform rapid assessments, determine level of care, and coordinate referrals.

The role supports emergency room navigation, risk assessments, and crisis intervention across multiple settings, including community outreach and inpatient coordination.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree within 6 months of hire may be needed.
• Experience in behavioral health settings preferred.
• Ability to perform rapid assessments and crisis intervention under stress.

Aufgaben

• Answers inquiry calls and schedules assessments; acts as primary contact for BHC services.
• Performs psychosocial assessments including risk evaluations and referrals.
• Manages the Behavioral Health Center emergency room flow and patient screening.
• Coordinates with law enforcement and security for transports and crisis interventions.
• Provides crisis intervention and case management across clinics and community services.
