Telecare East Kern Crisis Stabilization Unit in Ridgecrest, CA is seeking a Psychiatric Emergency Clinician I – Mental Health 339 to independently conduct child, youth, and adult 5585/5150 evaluations and contribute to crisis stabilization efforts.

Starting wage range is $34.43-$42.52 per hour, with geographic differentials applied. The role requires a Master’s in Social Work or Psychology, 2 years of direct behavioral health experience, and licensure-prep or waivers.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or equivalent.
• Two years of direct service in a behavioral health setting.
• CPR, CPI, and First Aid certifications required or obtained within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Independently conducts child, youth, and adult 5585/5150 evaluations and releases.
• Engages members, families, and others in crisis stabilization and aftercare planning.
• Liaises with community programs to enhance treatment and level of care determinations.
