Job summary

Telecare Corporation is hiring a Psychiatric Emergency Clinician I in California. The role conducts 5585/5150 evaluations for children to adults and supports crisis stabilization, level of care decisions, and recovery planning.

The CSU serves 12 consumers at a time, with a focus on rapid stabilization and community linkages. Expect starting wages from $34.43 to $42.52 per hour, with geographic differentials.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
• Two years of direct service experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Waived Clinician as ACSW or IMFT and completion of all prelicensure classes.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• CPR, CPI, and First Aid certification on date of employment or within 60 days and maintained throughout employment.
• Post-offer health checks, background clearances, and license verification where applicable.
• Driver license and vehicle insurance if driving is required.

Responsibilities

• Independently conducts child, youth, and adult 5585/5150 evaluations and releases.
• Engages families and crisis stakeholders in stabilization and care planning.
• Liaises with community programs and develops partnerships for aftercare.
• Supports telecare's mission and collaborates with the CSU team.
