Job summary

Telecare Corporation in Alameda County is seeking a Part-Time Psychiatric Emergency Clinician I to provide crisis evaluations for youth and adults. The role includes independent 5585/5150 evaluations and coordination with families and community partners.

On-site work with a starting hourly wage of $34.43–$42.52, commensurate with experience. Required: master's degree in Social Work or Psychology, 2 years of direct behavioral health experience, and relevant certifications (CPR, CPI, First Aid).

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Two years of direct service experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Waived Clinician as ACSW or IMFT and completion of prelicensure classes.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• CPR, CPI and First Aid certification required or obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Post-offer exams, TB testing, background checks and license verification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Independently conducts child, youth, and adult 5585/5150 evaluations.
• Engages and educates members, families and significant others in crisis stabilization.
• Serves as liaison to community programs and develops aftercare partnerships.
