Job summary

Telecare Corporation is seeking a Psych Emergency Clinician I – Mental Health 339 in Ridgecrest, CA. The role focuses on conducting psychiatric evaluations for youth and adults and coordinating crisis stabilization.

The position emphasizes engagement with families and community resources to support aftercare plans. The candidate will join Telecare's Eastern Kern CSU, delivering 24/7 outpatient psychiatric services.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
• Two years of direct service experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Waived Clinician as ACSW or IMFT and completion of all prelicensure classes.
• Must be CPR, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and First Aid certified on date of employment or within 60 days.
• Post-offer physical examination, TB test, criminal background clearances, and license verification may apply.
• Valid and current driver’s license and vehicle insurance; willing to use company and personal vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Independently conducts child, youth, and adult 5585/5150 evaluations and releases per regulations.
• Engages and educates members served, families, and significant others in crisis stabilization and recovery.
• Liaisons to community programs and develops partnerships to enhance aftercare plans.
