Job summary

Tower Health in Pottstown Hospital is seeking an Emergency Preparedness Specialist to join the regional team. • Education requirements: 2 year/associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Support development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Emergency Preparedness program across hospitals and facilities.
• Assist in ensuring organizational readiness for natural disasters, public health emergencies, and other critical events through planning, training, exercises, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with departments, public safety teams, clinical leaders, and community partners on emergency operations planning, business continuity, exercises, and incident response.
• Serve as a resource for preparedness education, documentation, compliance monitoring, and after-action improvement to ensure resilience and readiness.
