The Clinical Pharmacist at Grady Health System applies pharmacotherapy knowledge to influence physician prescribing, improving medication use across the health system. In the Emergency Medicine unit, you will monitor therapies, participate in direct patient care, and serve as a liaison among pharmacy and health care teams.

You will also precept PGY-1 and PGY-2 residents, promoting rational, cost-effective use of medications while contributing to high-quality patient outcomes within a dynamic ED

Competenze

• Doctorate of Pharmacy required.
• Licensure or license eligible (must obtain within 90 days of employment) in the state of Georgia.
• Previous Institutional pharmacy experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Influence physician prescribing to improve use of medications and patient outcomes.
• Direct patient care activities and monitor therapy in the Emergency Medicine setting.
• Precept PGY-1 and PGY-2 residents to promote rational, cost-effective medication use.
