Qualifications

• Doctorate of Pharmacy degree plus 1 year post-Pharm .D. experience required.
• ASHP-accredited PGY-1 Residency or Pharm.D. with 5+ years post-Pharm .D. experience required or preferred.
• PGY-2 Emergency Medicine Residency preferred.
• Georgia Pharmacist license or eligibility within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Apply pharmacotherapy knowledge to influence physician prescribing and improve outcomes.
• Serve as advanced practitioner, educator, consultant, and leader within the ED.
• Monitor drug therapy and coordinate with the pharmacy and health care team.
