Boston Children’s Hospital is seeking a full-time Social Worker to join the Emergency Psych Services (EPS) team in Boston. The role provides biopsychosocial assessments, trauma-informed interventions, and advocacy for patients and families in ED and inpatient settings.

Responsibilities include psychosocial assessments, collaborating on discharge planning, and coordinating with care teams and community agencies.

Qualifications

• MSW required for the role
• Massachusetts LCSW or LICSW licensure required
• Spanish language skills a plus
• Strong clinical skills across modalities

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical social work services to patients and families facing medical, personal, and environmental challenges
• Conduct psychosocial and risk assessments, diagnose, and develop/intervene with treatment plans
• Collaborate with healthcare teams and community agencies to plan discharge and outpatient care
