Job summary

Nemours Children's Health in Orlando, FL is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Emergency Services team. The per diem/ full-time Advanced Practice Provider delivers patient care, conducts histories and exams, and coordinates referrals and health records for pediatric patients.

Florida APRN/PA license, BLS, and at least 2 years pediatric experience are required; Pediatric Advanced Practice experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have current Florida APRN/PA license in good standing.
• Current AHA BLS certificate upon hire.
• Minimum of 2 years of Pediatric experience preferred.
• Pediatric Advanced Practice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients and records health histories.
• Performs physical and developmental assessments and diagnoses health problems.
• Manages health care, provides teaching and counseling, initiates referrals, and maintains health records.
