Job summary

Nemours Children's Health in Orlando, FL is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Emergency Services team. The per diem/ full-time Advanced Practice Provider delivers patient care, conducts histories and exams, and coordinates referrals and health records for pediatric patients.

Florida APRN/PA license, BLS, and at least 2 years pediatric experience are required; Pediatric Advanced Practice experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Must have current Florida APRN/PA license in good standing.
Current AHA BLS certificate upon hire.
Minimum of 2 years of Pediatric experience preferred.
Pediatric Advanced Practice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Interviews patients and records health histories.
Performs physical and developmental assessments and diagnoses health problems.

This position interviews patients, obtains and records health histories, completes physical and developmental assessments, diagnoses health problems, manages the health care of those patients for which he/she has been educated, provides health care teaching and counseling, initiates referrals and maintains health records.
