Qualifications

• Three (3) years’ experience as a Paramedic in a pre‑hospital setting preferred.
• BCLS Certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification required.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification preferred, required within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care in the Trauma & Emergency Center.
• Implement care as directed by the registered nurse.
• Administer prescribed medication and treatment.
• Provide age-appropriate care in a culturally sensitive manner.

Excellent communication in customer service skills

Basic computer skills

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Successful completion of an accredited paramedic program

Currently licensed as a EMT–P in the state of Michigan
