Bowhead is seeking an Emergency Operations / Telecommunications Specialist to support the National Security Emergency Preparedness program in Washington, DC. This role operates onsite in a classified environment and assists EPA continuity personnel with secure and nonsecure communications systems.

Responsibilities include maintaining telecom and cryptographic equipment, managing COMSEC tasks, and producing operations reports.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Telecommunications Systems, Management, Information Systems, or related field.
• 4+ years general experience in telecommunications equipment/systems operations and EOC activities.
• 2+ years specialized experience in national security emergency support or environmental emergency program support.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
• Effective oral and written communication across all levels.
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment for solo or team work.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and maintain telecommunications and cryptographic equipment and systems.
• Serve as Alternate COMSEC Custodian and assist with COMSEC account management.
• Maintain control of CCIs for secure communications up to TS/SCI level.
• Distribute CCI and perform semiannual inventories with documentation.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly Operations Status reports and SOPs.
• Ensure EOC and communications systems are ready for operational use.
• Coordinate with Watch Officers and TOCOR on status and requests.
• Provide orientation and briefings on EOC communications capabilities and activation procedures.
