McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center in Springfield, Oregon, seeks a Nursing Director (RN) for Emergency Services to lead daily ED operations, staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation for high-quality, patient-centered care.

You will manage the department budget, drive quality improvement, ensure regulatory compliance, mentor ED nurses, and collaborate with other departments to deliver seamless emergency services.

Qualifications

• Active RN Licensure in the State of Oregon.
• Bachelor's degree (BSN), Masters degree preferred.
• 5-10 years' experience in emergency nursing.
• Minimum 3-5 years' leadership experience.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills required.

Responsibilities

• Directing the daily operations of the ED, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care, and implementing strategies to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes.
• Managing the departmental budget and ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Leading and mentoring a team of nurses providing opportunities for professional development.
• Responding to emergency situations related to patient and staff safety.
• Collaborating with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
