Qualifications

• In addition to education, experience in a role requiring interaction with diverse people and high accuracy.
• Ability to work independently with multiple demands and minimal supervision.
• Ability to prioritize demanding workload and balance multiple expectations.
• DNS reports to CNO and may interpret clinical policy in the CNO’s absence.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supervising professionals and collaborating with health care teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist the CNO in providing leadership to nursing staff and enroll team in achieving goals.
• Maintain regulatory compliance approvals and quality accreditation.
• Oversee operations to maintain patient care standards and advise management and staff.
• Direct policies, organizational structure, and performance standards.
• Interpret nursing service objectives to staff and community groups.
• Lead and direct the work of others with creativity and latitude.
