Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited institution; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years Emergency Department experience with 2+ years in leadership.
• Comprehensive knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and guidelines.
• Experience in quality performance monitoring and labor management.
• Ability to prepare and manage departmental budgets effectively.
• Proficiency with Meditech and other hospital systems.
• Strong time management and deadline prioritization.
• Licensed by the NC Board of Nursing with active credentials.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily ED operations, ensuring standards and policies are followed.
• Develop and implement departmental policies, procedures, and nursing manuals.
• Lead recruitment, hiring, evaluation, and professional development.
• Collaborate with administration for program development and service integration.
