Job summary

CoxHealth South in Springfield, MO, is seeking a patient care assistant/EMT to provide basic patient care under nursing supervision. You will obtain patient information and report changes in condition to the nursing staff.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, BLS within 90 days, and preferred prior experience as EMT, PCA, CNA, or nursing student; strong communication and multitasking skills are important.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred: EMT, PCA, Nurse Assistant, or completion of fundamentals of nursing for nursing students.
• BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
