Job summary

CoxHealth in Springfield, MO is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to maintain cleanliness and infection control across the hospital and surrounding facilities.

The role supports patient safety by keeping areas sanitary, responding to communications, and traveling between CoxHealth sites as needed; evening shift, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, full-time with 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: No prior experience required.
• Safety: Observes all safety standards and PPE procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain patient and facility areas in a sanitary, orderly condition.
• Follow infection control policies and safety procedures.
• Respond to calls and coordinate with team via phone, radios, pagers.
• Travel between CoxHealth facilities as needed.
