Job summary

Emergency Restoration Experts (ERX) in Columbia, SC seeks a full-time Mitigation Technician to assess, rebuild, and restore homes and businesses after disasters. You will be part of an emergency response team and use hand and power tools to deliver a superior customer experience.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to work overtime, and basic tech skills for devices. Prior demolition/restoration experience is a plus. We offer a consistent schedule and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Attention to details in organization, cleanliness and care for facility, assets, and equipment.
• Basic tech skills to use a smartphone/tablet and relevant software.
• Availability to work overtime in response to emergency situations, which may include after hours, weekends, or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Be able to interact with customers in disaster response activities.
• Mitigation Technicians will be responsible to repair and restore the structure.
• Mitigation Technicians are responsible for removal and replacement of damage drywall, Plumbing, and related materials.
• Working with your direct supervisor to ensure the team is unified and efficient.
• Mitigation Technicians are responsible for execution and implementation of appropriate mitigation procedures, as necessary, and following up as required to assure excellent customer service.
