Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking a board-certified emergency medicine physician to serve as system medical director, providing strategic and operational leadership across multiple emergency medicine and hospital medicine programs.

You will partner with facility medical directors, hospital leadership, recruiters, and operational teams to drive physician engagement, patient safety, quality improvement, staffing excellence, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with board certification in EM, IM, or FM.
• Proven physician leadership experience.
• Strong operational, quality, and team-building skills.
• Experience working with hospital administration and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Physician leadership development across programs.
• Performance management across sites.
