TeamHealth seeks an accomplished hospital medicine physician leader to serve as system medical director for hospital medicine and emergency medicine across Montgomery, Alabama, for the Baptist Health System. This leadership role partners with executive and operational leaders to advance quality, safety, physician engagement, and strategic growth across two service lines in three facilities.

As system medical director, you will provide clinical oversight and strategic direction for HM and EM

Qualifications

• Board-certified internal medicine physician with leadership experience.
• Proven ability to lead hospital medicine and acute care programs.
• Strong communication and collaboration across clinical and administrative teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide physician leadership for hospital medicine and emergency medicine across the health system.
• Champion quality improvement, patient safety, and evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate with administration to achieve strategic and operational goals.
• Mentor and develop physician leaders; build an engaged clinical team.
• Drive performance metrics on patient experience and clinical outcomes.
