Job summary

Kaweah Health Medical Center – Visalia, California, seeks an Emergency Medicine Residency Associate Program Director – Partner affiliated with Vituity. The role focuses on supporting the Residency Program Director, strengthening the curriculum, and ensuring ACGME compliance to deliver high-quality resident education.

The position requires ABMS board certification, an active medical license, and prior core faculty or residency development experience.

Qualifications

• Physician with current, valid American Board Certification in relevant field and active state license.
• 2 years of experience as Core Faculty or in Residency Program Development; new programs exceptions may apply.
• MD or DO with medical staff privileges and board certification.
• Membership and privileges on hospital medical staff; abide by bylaws and policies.

Responsibilities

• Support the Residency Program Director – Partner in administration, management, and teaching of the residency program.
• Deliver an engaging didactic and clinical education curriculum; ensure compliance with ACGME standards.
• Develop and contribute to the competency-based curriculum for residents; participate in program evaluation and CCC/PEC activities.
• Recruitment and selection of residents; mentor and evaluate residents throughout training.
• Assist with hospital and program coordination, including interdepartmental collaboration and governance."
