Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a Research Assistant to provide research and technical support for projects in the Department of Emergency Medicine - CC. You will assist with interviews, transcription, and preparation of research reports while developing data collection tools and recruitment strategies.

The role requires an Associate’s Degree in a relevant field, 2 years of word processing and data management experience, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in biology, public health, sociology or a healthcare related field.
• 2 years experience with word processing software and familiarity with database design and management.

Responsibilities

• Provides research support services as directed by the Senior Research Team.
• Assists with conducting individual and group interviews and transcribing qualitative interviews.
• Assists with writing all research-related reports.
• Creates data collection and management tools.
• Develops recruitment strategies to meet enrollment requirements.
• Prepares informed consent and IRB-related materials for review within deadlines.
