Job summary

Lehigh Valley Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Department of Emergency Medicine Coordinator for a full-time day shift. You will coordinate and support strategic projects, prepare metrics, and assist with provider onboarding and credentialing.

The role includes data analysis, scheduling support, policy oversight, and collaboration with DOEHM leadership to monitor performance and drive improvements across the department.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Healthcare or Business.
• 3 years in a healthcare environment with experience in project coordination, data analytics, and hospital/prehospital operations.
• Extensive computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office applications and database management.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare or Business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the DOEHM Leadership to mine, manage, and analyze data requests.
• Provides coordination and support for the DOEHM leadership for projects and initiatives.
• Supports assignment and tracking of compliance with job-specific certifications, licensures, and merit-badge courses.
• Assists with annual provider evaluations, flu vaccinations, departmental databases, and other tasks.
• Provides support and oversight related to departmental Policies and Procedures.
• Collaborates with departmental leadership to manage and coordinate strategic and departmental projects, goals, and initiatives.
• Provides support related to provider credentialing, reappointments, and onboarding.
• Evaluates and interprets data for trends and communicates information to department leadership.
• Provides support for provider scheduling and related databases/software.
• Prepares reports used by leadership for monitoring and decision making.
