Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients, and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
• Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic tests.
• Involves patients and families in care decisions.
• Creates treatment plans and completes orders in charts.
• Collaborates on care delivery improvements with staff and management.
• Initiates appropriate specialty referrals.
• Provides clinical information to the interdisciplinary team clearly.
• Ensures proper patient documentation is timely and complete.
• Works with billing/coding for CPT assignment.
• Achieves and maintains optimal patient access.
