Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Wilmington, DE is seeking Emergency Medicine physicians to join as wound care physicians. This position features a Monday–Friday daytime schedule with no nights, no rotating shifts, and no on-call duties, offering improved work–life balance while applying your ED skills to wound care.

You will perform bedside procedures including debridement, manage chronic wounds, and collaborate with SNFs to guide healing. Training is provided; MD/DO licensure in the state is required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (DE) possible.
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Wound care training provided; no prior wound care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care within a wound care-focused program.
• Perform bedside procedures and debridement as part of daily practice.
• Collaborate with skilled nursing facilities to manage patient healing.
• Maintain clinical autonomy and follow patients through healing.
