Skilled Wound Care is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician in Wilmington, DE to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This role emphasizes a no-call, Monday–Friday schedule with autonomy to apply internal medicine expertise to chronic wound management.

Training provided for bedside procedures and documentation system enhancements. Ideal candidates hold an MD or DO with an unrestricted license in the state and are eligible for a DEA license.

Formación

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.

Responsabilidades

• Provide wound care and manage chronic wounds in post-acute settings.
• Perform surgical debridement and bedside procedures with training provided.
• Collaborate with nursing facilities to coordinate patient care and follow healing outcomes.
• Ensure high-quality documentation and patient follow-up in a no-call, Mon–Fri schedule.
