Position Overview

Presbyterian Medical Group seeks a Board Eligible / Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician to join our established practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We offer a nationally competitive salary, relocation allowance, CME allowance, and fully paid malpractice insurance.

Practice Highlights

• 2-3 patients per hour
• One, 24-hour call shift per month
• No single coverage; scheduled with other Physicians and NP/PA's on shifts

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care in the Emergency Department, including initial assessments, diagnostics, treatment, and disposition for patients from newborn to geriatric.
• Perform procedures such as codes, conscious sedation, airway management, ultrasound-guided procedures, joint and fracture reductions.
• Serve as an educator for staff and students, participate in management and policy development, and engage in quality improvement activities.
• Maintain accurate medical records, participate in monthly call shifts, and adhere to continuing education requirements.

Credentials

M.D./D.O. in Emergency Medicine; New Mexico State M.D. License; 3-5 years of emergency care experience or residency training.
