Job summary

gobravvo is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician (ABEM MD/DO) for a full-time role in a community hospital setting in Mississippi. You will provide acute emergency care, work with a multidisciplinary team, and ensure high-quality care for a diverse patient population in a Level IV Trauma Center with 24-hour physician coverage and EPIC with Dragon dictation.

Candidates must have MD/DO with EM residency; board-eligibility; ACLS/PALS/ATLS; active license; two years of case logs.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with completion of an accredited residency in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine preferred; other specialties considered with relevant experience.
• Current ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications required for non-ABEM-certified candidates.
• Two years of documented case logs required.
• Active state medical license, DEA registration, and CSR if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting with a range of conditions.
• Perform rapid assessment, diagnosis, and management of acute emergencies.
• Utilize EPIC EMR with Dragon dictation for charting.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and support personnel to ensure optimal patient flow and outcomes.
• Stabilize and transfer trauma and critically ill patients as necessary.
• Maintain high standards of care and adhere to hospital protocols and best practices.
