Job summary

gobravvo is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO, ABEM/AOBEM) for an 8-month locum tenens assignment in Mississippi. The role offers a minimum of five 12-hour shifts per month with no on-call requirements, in a facility using Epic EMR and serving a medium-acuity ED around 17,000 visits annually.

Ideal candidates hold ABEM or AOBEM certification, an active Mississippi license, and a residency in Emergency Medicine.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with ABEM/AOBEM board certification.
• Active, unrestricted Mississippi medical license.
• Fellowship training not required; locum tenens experience not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care in a medium-acuity ED with ~17,000 visits/year.
• Cover 12-hour shifts (day, swing, night) and collaborate with the ED team.
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management.
