Job summary

gobravvo is seeking a Board-certified Emergency Medicine physician for locum tenens coverage in a community hospital setting. The role requires treating a high volume of acute cases, using EPIC EMR, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely patient care.

Ideal candidates hold ABEM or ABFM/ABIM credentials, with ACLS and PALS, DEA license, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm or 7pm-7am) across a Level 3 trauma center.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or Internal Medicine/Family Medicine with ER experience is acceptable.
• Active state medical license and DEA required, ACLS and PALS certifications expected.
• Experience with high-volume, fast-paced ED operations and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide acute care in a high-volume ED and perform standard emergency procedures.
• Collaborate with MAs, RNs, NPs, PAs and specialty backup teams.
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management.
• Manage diverse acute cases in a Level 3 trauma center setting.
