Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Physician, Emergency Medicine to provide comprehensive emergency care and patient advocacy in a fast-paced setting.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team across multiple sites, coordinating care and ensuring high-quality outcomes. The role includes supervising Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners, participating in policy development, and driving medical quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of medicine.
• Board certification in occupational medicine, family practice, emergency medicine or internal medicine or eligible within one year of hire.
• Minimum of one year of experience required.
• Fluency in Spanish language is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provides emergency medical care and follow-up evaluations.
• Maintains knowledge of applicable laws and OSHA recordability as assessed by review.
• Assists with development, implementation, and revision of policies affecting medical practice.
• Coordinates work with physicians and staff and provides coverage to other emergency medicine locations.
• Supervises the Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners.
• Performs and directs medical quality improvement activities.
• Acts as a liaison with the medical community.
• Maintains confidentiality and complies with safety and reporting requirements.
