Job summary

Sun Recruiting, Inc. seeks an Emergency Medicine Physician to join a high-volume Level II Trauma Center in Alabama.

The role focuses on providing comprehensive emergency care to a diverse patient population within a zone-based model. You will collaborate with experienced physicians, teach residents and medical students, and contribute to a flexible schedule including nocturnist shifts and a roughly 14 shifts/month with a 7-day block off.

Qualifications

• Completed residency in Emergency Medicine.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM).
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a medical license in Alabama.

Responsibilities

• Deliver acute medical care in the emergency department.
• Manage critical cases typical for a Level II Trauma Center.
• Collaborate with a team of board-certified emergency medicine physicians.
• Engage in educational activities with residents and medical students.
• Participate in shift coverage, including possible nocturnist schedule.
• Maintain a flexible schedule of approximately 14 shifts per month with a 7-day block off.
