Joseph Michaels International seeks an Emergency Medicine Physician to join a high-volume Level II Trauma Center. The role offers opportunity to manage both high-acuity trauma and lower-acuity patients via fast track, with a flexible schedule of roughly 14 shifts per month and a 7-day block off.

Responsibilities include teaching residents and students, collaborating with board-certified colleagues, and providing comprehensive emergency care.

Qualifications

• Completed residency in Emergency Medicine.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM).
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a medical license in Alabama.

Responsibilities

• Deliver acute medical care in the emergency department.
• Manage critical cases typical for a Level II Trauma Center.
• Collaborate with a team of board-certified emergency medicine physicians.
• Engage in educational activities with residents and medical students.
• Participate in shift coverage, including possible nocturnist schedule.
• Maintain a flexible schedule with approximately 14 shifts per month and a 7-day block off.
