Job summary

CaduceusMedicalRecruitment is seeking Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine physicians to join a well-established, high-volume ED within a large integrated healthcare system. This opportunity offers strong clinical support, a collaborative environment, and a highly desirable schedule structure.

Physicians will work in a high-acuity ED with robust specialty backup, a multidisciplinary care model, and opportunities to teach medical students and residents.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/board-eligible in Emergency Medicine.
• Willing to practice in a high-acuity, high-volume ED.
• Active medical licensure in Alabama or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care in a high-volume, high-acuity setting.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of acute emergencies.
• Collaborate with hospitalists, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in shift-based scheduling with structured time off.
• Supervise and collaborate with advanced practice providers in fast-track/ED settings.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation per regulatory standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and department development.
• Optional involvement in teaching and mentorship of trainees.
