Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Fayetteville VAMC seeks an Emergency Medicine Physician to deliver expert emergency care, oversee patient flow, and support ED operations. The role includes on-call coverage, supervision of residents, and participation in telehealth and fast track services.

The ideal candidate is board certified/eligible in Emergency Medicine, licensed in the United States, and committed to VA policies and patient-centered care. Comprehensive benefits and incentives apply.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed physician in the United States.
• Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM).
• Completion of approved residency in Emergency Medicine or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency care in the Fayetteville VA ED.
• Provide clinical and administrative support to the Emergency Department.
• Mentor residents, fellows, and PAs; participate in on-call coverage.
